How Do I Open Offloaded Microsoft Outlook (.pst) Files?

Outlook PST Repair

My old computer recently died, and I had a local computer repair shop remove the important documents from my hard drive. This included some files from Outlook (from Office 2000, I think). These are .pst files.

However, I am unable to open these files on my new computer, or my work computer. My new computer has MS Office & Student and OneNote (no Outlook). My work computer has a more recent version of Outlook. And I cannot seem to access these saved files on either machine.

All I really want to be able to do is read my Outlook files and manually enter them into my new computer.

Any suggestions?

You will have to “Import” the pst into a outlook’s account. Do you have access to Outlook 2003 or 2007 ? They both support .PST file. If you have the access let me know..I shall guide you thru the process of importing it.

from outlook (the work pc w/ new version should be fine) do this:
    file>import/export>import from another program>select pst
then point that to your outlook backup pst file
it should open in there…email us if we can be of further assistance!
