I dont know what happened earlier but I was checking my email, the screen went a little funny then Outlook 2007 closed and gave me a couple of prompts saying it had to close yadda yadda… now this is what it’s saying:
“Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the window. The set of folders cannot be opened. Errors have been detected in the file C:\user….outlook.pst. Quit Outlook and all mail-enabled applications and use the Inbox Repair Tool (scanpst.exe) ….”
Okay… but I’ve done a search on ‘scanpst.exe, scanpst, inbox repair tool’ etc…
IT’S NOT IN THERE!!! THERE’S NOTHING RELATED TO THOSE TERMS.
What now? What happened to my Outlook?
Thank you so much!!
:Frustrated!:
I tried going to control panel, programs, fix/repair… it did what it was supposed to do but didnt fix my problem. I guess now i’ll have to uninstall/reinstall?
Chosen Answer:
go to start-add remove program- then click on outlook- and then repair it. That will fix your problems.

• You could delete the account you have setup/recreate
• You could uninstall/reinstall Outlook
